All products are home made ‘ in Japan’ & reflect the effort & craftsmanship of japanese potters. This starter plate will attract you with its shiny surface, which is not completely straight, but lightly bumpy. It looks like there are little grains of sand under the paint. It is an unexpected element, but therefore more interesting & unique. The rim is brown & the whole plate feels very earthy. This plate will be shining on white table cloth, especially if you add other pieces from the Tenmokku collection.
